Third National Report to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change
Project description
The main aim of the project is to strengthen the information base, analytical and institutional capacity of the key national institutions to integrate climate change priorities into country development strategies and relevant sector programs by providing financial and technical support to prepare its Third National Communication (TNC) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
Objectives
The project aims at further strengthening dialogue, information exchange and cooperation among all stakeholders including governmental, non-governmental, academic, and private sectors, in order to ensure that climate change is high on the agenda of priorities.
Results
It is expected that this project will support the achievment of a national consensus on actions and measures that need to be undertaken to address the climate change related issues relevant for the country.
